Use of the service

Stormbraining is a paid idea-evaluation tool. By using it, you agree to these terms.

What you're buying

• A credit. Each credit unlocks one full panel evaluation — four named AI experts × three rounds plus a synthesis.
• Credits are issued by Stripe Checkout, signed by our server, and stored in your browser. Credits do not expire.
• Prices are inclusive of any applicable taxes shown at checkout. Stripe is our payment processor — see the Privacy Policy for what payment data they handle on our behalf.

Refunds + cooling-off

Stormbraining is a digital service delivered immediately on purchase. By completing a purchase you expressly consent to immediate delivery and acknowledge that the EU 14-day cooling-off right does not apply to credits you have already used (Article 16(m) of the EU Consumer Rights Directive). Unused credits remain refundable for 14 days. See the full Refund Policy for how to request a refund.

Your content

• You retain all intellectual property rights to the ideas you submit. Submitting an idea does not transfer ownership to us.
• You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process your submitted idea solely to generate the panel evaluation and to display the resulting transcript back to you.
• We do not currently store submitted ideas server-side — they are processed in-memory during the panel run and discarded.
• We do not use your submissions to train any AI model.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Submit content that is illegal, infringing, abusive, hateful, or designed to extract private information about real individuals.
• Attempt to inject prompts that bypass the panel's purpose (e.g. instructing the panel to ignore its role and produce arbitrary text).
• Use automated scripts to submit ideas at a rate that exceeds published per-IP rate limits or otherwise consume credits faster than a human would.
• Share, resell, or redistribute credit tokens, the panel transcripts, or the rendered output as a commercial service.
• Initiate chargebacks for credits you have used. We will dispute such chargebacks (see Refund Policy).

We may rate-limit, suspend, or block access for abuse.

Output and accuracy

The panel produces AI-generated commentary, not professional advice. See the AI Disclaimer for details. We make no warranty that the output is accurate, complete, or suitable for any specific purpose. The product is the panel evaluation itself — dissatisfaction with the verdict does not constitute grounds for a refund on a used credit.

Availability

We do not guarantee uptime. The service depends on third-party providers (Anthropic, Stripe, Vercel) and may experience outages, capacity throttling, or feature changes. If a paid panel run fails end-to-end due to a service outage on our side and a credit is consumed without producing a synthesis, contact refund@stormbrainings.com for a credit restoration.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Stormbraining. Our total liability for any claim is capped at the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced on the home page. Credits already purchased remain governed by the terms in force at purchase time.
