Refund Policy

What you're buying

A credit on Stormbraining. Each credit unlocks one full panel evaluation — four named AI experts × three rounds plus a synthesis. Credits are issued by Stripe checkout, signed cryptographically by our server, and stored in your browser.

Immediate digital delivery + cooling-off waiver

Stormbraining is a digital service delivered immediately after purchase. Under Article 16(m) of the EU Consumer Rights Directive (Directive 2011/83/EU), the standard 14-day cooling-off right does not apply to digital content delivered immediately when you have given explicit prior consent and acknowledged the loss of that right.

By completing a purchase you:

  • Request immediate delivery of the credit(s) to your browser.
  • Explicitly waive your 14-day right of withdrawal for any credit you have already used (run a panel with).
  • Retain the right of withdrawal for any unused credits (see below).

When you can get a refund

We will refund the full purchase price within 14 days of purchase if all of these are true:

  • You have not used the credit(s). Once a panel evaluation has been run against a credit, that credit is consumed and not refundable.
  • For the 10-pack: refunds apply to the entire pack, only if zero credits have been used. Partial-pack refunds are not offered.
  • You contact us at refund@stormbrainings.com within 14 days of the purchase, including the Stripe receipt number.

When you can't get a refund

  • Credits that have been used (panel actually ran end-to-end and produced a synthesis).
  • Purchases made more than 14 days ago.
  • Dissatisfaction with the panel's output. The Synthesis Verdict is opinionated AI-generated commentary, not professional advice (see AI Disclaimer). The product is the panel evaluation itself, which we deliver in full regardless of whether the verdict is the founder's preferred conclusion.

How to request a refund

Email refund@stormbrainings.com with:

  • The email address used at Stripe checkout
  • The Stripe receipt number
  • The date of purchase

We'll respond within 7 business days. Approved refunds go back to the original payment method via Stripe and typically arrive in 5–10 business days.

Chargebacks

If you believe you've been charged in error, please contact us first — we'd rather refund directly than incur the chargeback fee. We reserve the right to dispute chargebacks that don't qualify under this policy (e.g., for credits that have already been used).
